ABOUT US
The Bauxite Museum
The Bauxite Museum was established in 1986. It originally consisted of one room. This room is the Sally Donnor Room, commonly called the community living area. Over the years, the museum expanded into four large rooms. A small hallway leads into the Hines Room, often called the war room. Attached to this room is the Bono Room, reffered to as the sports room. In 2012 an elevator was installed and for the first time the museum was expanded to include the second floor.
